#174 - The Mayor of Scum City

This week the Gaming Marathon crew reveal a new and improved member of the show and double jump into another excellent retro gaming discussion in regards to which games from yesteryear deserve a reboot. Up next, it's this week's rapid fire news including Sony plans to release a 1TB standard PS4 for $299, Ninja Gaiden: The Definitive Soundtrack Volumes 1 and 2 are now available on vinyl and CD, rumors hint that Nintendo has been working on a SNES Classic Edition, digital video game sales reached crazy new highs in 2016 per a new NPD report, Jonathan Blow recently revealed a prototype for his newest project, NPD analyst says March 2017 will be remembered as the month Nintendo broke records, May 2017 Xbox Games with Gold have been revealed, Call of Duty will return to its WWII roots and this week's video game releases are discussed. Finally, the guys wrap up the show with some game shaming.

#173 - Too Much Jumping

This week the guys open the show with an update on the brand new Gaming Marathon website, more on Adam's Gaming Marathon vacation and some Game Shaming. Next, it's this week's Rapid Fire News including a release date and more details on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a leaked Battlefront II trailer teases a story mode that promises to explore all eras of Star Wars, gamers can checkout the first hour of Prey in an upcoming console exclusive demo, Microsoft reveals more details of the Project Scorpio dev kit, Microsoft will begin a refund system for Xbox One and Windows 10 purchases, Splatoon 2 has a release date and a new game mode, Overwatch has a new PvE mode, Guerrilla Games almost made a game remarkably similar to The Order: 1886 instead of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nintendo sadly discontinues production of the NES Classic Edition, Nintendo sold more copies of Breath of the Wild on Switch than Switch consoles in the month of March and this week's video game releases are discussed. Finally, Adam wraps up the show with a review of Yooka-Laylee, a brand new addition to the 3D platformer genre and spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie.

Up next it's this week's Rapid Fire News including Jak and Daxter titles are heading to the PS4, players can now purchase video games on Twitch, Microsoft reveals Project Scorpio specs, Xbox One titles are expected to receive a performance boost on Project Scorpio, a new Mass Effect: Andromeda patch is live, one of the original developers of Star Fox is interested in developing a new title for the Switch, CD Projeckt Red defends its Cyberpunk trademark and this week's video game releases are discussed. Finally, the guys wrap up the show with some Game Shaming with Asad's retro PC gaming adventures, Dennis' admiration of Blizzard and Adam's wrap up of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This week the guys do a floating jump move right into Rapid Fire News including Blizzard has announced that StarCraft remastered is coming this summer, the President of Nintendo Of America says the company will have a "big E3 this year", Final Fantasy XV's Chapter 13 update is now available, Psyonix is currently exploring the possibility of bringing the incredibly successful Rocket League to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Plus titles for April 2017 have been revealed, Destiny 2 is set to release this coming fall, Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey has mysteriously left Facebook, the most recent Zelda: Breath Of The Wild update makes the game somehow even more pleasant, Mad Catz Interactive has filed for bankruptcy and this week's video game releases are discussed. Finally, the guys wrap up the show with Game Shaming including Aaron's retro gaming adventures on the NES Classic as well as Dennis the Cynic's thoughts on Super Mario Run.
